SWEET GABRIEL, YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

This poem is written about a little eight year old boy I never knew but love dearly. As you read further it will be explained. This picture is not him I did not know if I could download his picture and put it on here without his parents permission and I have no clue how to reach his parents. But like this picture he was a little eight yearold black boy, only he had a smile that would light up a room. I suggest you look him up and see for yourself how beautiful he was. My heart still aches for him so I decided to write a poem to him, to this boy I never knew.

SWEET GABRIEL YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

I have never met you sweet boy

I am grieved for your choice

I am sorry that people failed you sweet boy

They are wicked, calloused and cold with their choice

Your name is one of an angel and that is so sweet

I am sorry Gabriel that so many are weak

To weak to stand strong for you

This boy I never knew

Gabriel I love you.

I am sorry baby boy for your pain

I am sorry for the deafened ears that did not hear

I am sorry for the blinded eyes that did not see you

I have two blogs written for Gabriel called “JUSTICE FOR GABRIEL and JUSTICE FOR GABRIEL PART TWO.” He was an eight year old boy who killed his self because of bullying. I heard this story on the news as I walked through the house when my husband had it on. The bullying took place at Carson Elementary in Cincinnati Ohio. He was put through hell everyday and he stayed home one day and hung himself. I cannot tell you how this affected me. I wept all that night. I will always remember this young boy who captured my heart. I hope he captures yours too. Lets ask our children if there are any problems at school. Lets get active with our young ones. I hope all parents that read this will take the inititive so that this will never happen again. This has been a few years ago now and I still weep for him and suspect I always will.

I heard a statement that I love that says, Self deceit is said to be a sin against commonsense.

How very true and prophetic this is. We have many and I stress many pandemics in our country today and one is “Self deceit” I have said for a few years now that nobody likes truth today they shun and despise it and this attitude is feeding the beast called self deceit. I have someone in my life who frustrates me so much because she is self deceived about literally everything in her life. The world and culture today is full of excuses and looking for someone to blame things on. Everyone today seems to be a victim and I just want to SCREAM at them GROW UP and be ACCOUNTABLE already! I have also said that “truth is denied its abilities” and we see the aftermath of the blatant rejection of truth from the moral decay of our nation, lack of integrity and work ethics, the ever present junkies and the plain stupid that seem to always be offended and cannot wait to get on social media and find others to be offended with them keeping wars going. People who are self deceived are dangerous because they are unwilling to see reality. The person in my life who is self deceived (there are more than her by the way) has created so much drama in her life and more importantly her children’s lives. Self deceived people are usually selfish people too. Those two together are a tag team for destruction. When a person is self deceived they are believing lies and they not only believe lies they will defend the lies that they believe I think this problem is close to insanity.

I have never understood what the big deal is to simply admit that you are wrong or that you need to work on some things. I don’t see what is wrong with admitting that you have made some mistakes, we all have. None of us are perfect, nor will we ever be perfect all we can do is strive to be better. Sadly 2019 has not proved that we are getting better nor did 2018 or 2017. Sadly we are going backward. All of the madness in this world today that is promoted by social media only proves how pathetic and ignorant the world has become. I do not see anything that is conducive with intelligence on social media, the news or outside my front door door. What we have is a junkie infested excuse ridden world that hosts pity party victims, trouble makers, easily offended cry me a river, moral decay, huge decline of integrity, weak ass men that do not want to work, technology addicted, disrespectful punks, rebellious adults acting like children, and all the ones who continue to live in the past and continue to repeat it. We have thieves and deviants of all kinds, public shootings becoming the norm, cyber bullying and eight year old’s killing themselves, Self entitlement attitudes and arrogance ruling the world. I am only left with my words and the hope that someday people with some intelligence and influence will take a look around and agree with me and begin to force some change. I continue to dream and will continue to scream!

I wrote last year a piece called “Justice for Gabriel.” in the Lakeviewtimes. For all those who do not know this was a sweet and precious little eight year old boy who was bullied mercilessly at Carson Elementary in Cincinnati Ohio. This little boy took his OWN LIFE by hanging himself!!!!!!! The parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the school and they said and I quote “The case should be dismissed because school leaders did not cause his death” I am outraged and so sad and disgusted by the system of this pathetic world! This story has affected me greatly and I often think of Gabriel. Go online and look at his pictures and ask yourself could you dismiss him? There is video proving how bad the bullying was. One of 31 security cameras around Carson Elementary captured an incident at the entry of a school restroom two days before the boys death. The security camera shows that Gabriel entered, another student either pulled him or assaulted him, and Gabriel slumped to the floor. The video showed Gabriel lay unconscious for nearly seven minutes. No one told Gabriel’s mother that he fainted later he complained about belly pains his mother took him to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated and released. His mother kept him home from school the next day. But the day after that Gabriel went back to Carson, where in the morning two students took his water bottle from him. That night at home Gabriel hanged himself!

CPS response says “There is no indication that school officials ignored reports of bullying against Gabriel or that they minimized his injuries. The response filed Oct. 6 says the wrongful death suit, if successful would impose new burdens on schools “the court should decline the invitation to impose onerous untested, unnecessary new requirements on the public school system.” Jennifer Branch the lawyer representing Gabriel’s parents in the federal suit said about the CPS response, “We’re disappointed that the school district chose to fight instead of resolving this case, but we’re confident that the lawsuit supports all claims in the “lawsuit”

This school is seeking for this to be dismissed!!!!!! What is wrong with people do they have no heart, do they have NO compassion even for our children? I am at a loss. I do not even know what to say about this. PISS on this! The court should DISMISS this pathetic school system who is back peddling and avoiding and evading their responsibility! When parents send their kids to school it is THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP THEM SAFE! They failed Gabriel then and sadly THEY CONTINUE TO FAIL HIM NOW!!!! If this was their child would they be asking for a dismissal? HELL NO they would not!!!!! These kids that bullied him should be punished! The school should be punished! The parents of these bullies should be punished!!!!I am so FED-UP that when things like this happen people say dont blame the teachers REALLY? ALL that say that should choke on their words! Teaching is not their only responsibility. The first responsibility is to PROTECT THE CHILDREN!!!!!! NO EXCUSES are allowed when a EIGHT YEAR OLD HANGS HIMSELF!!!!!

Where is justice for Gabriel? WHERE! WHERE! WHERE! I am sickened by this and it is indicative of the cold ass world that we live in and it is disgusting to me. RIGHT IS RIGHT PEOPLE and WRONG IS WRONG!!!!!! They want to talk about burdens on schools BOO HOO and SHAME ON YOU! An innocent 8 year old boy whose smile will forever be in my mind killed himself SCREW your burdens!!!!! Two parents are suffering the greatest loss of their lives and YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT BURDENS!!!!!! I am outraged and I I I I will NEVER FORGET OR DISMISS GABRIEL!!!!! How dare you! I wish all parents could home school their kids and tell the schools to shove it up their ass!

It is heartbreaking! It is tragic and senseless! PARENTS GET OFF OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND TEACH YOUR KIDS TO BE HUMAN BEINGS!!!!! There is NO down playing, NO excuses in this matter! Just like the chic I wrote about recently in the Lakeviewtimes who defended a baby rapist and turned on those who defended the baby this is another example of the IGNORANCE and COLDNESS that we allow and our laws uphold. What I mean is this should not even be a fight! EVERYBODY SHOULD BE ON GABRIEL’S SIDE!!!!! EVERYBODY SHOULD BE ON HIS PARENTS SIDE! The fact that they are not is wicked and cruel. The school should have their lips sown on the parents asses!!!!! Instead they are fighting against JUSTICE FOR GABRIEL!!!!!!!!

Mans justice fails people daily but I take comfort in the justice of GOD. Believe me HIS justice will prevail!!!!!! Nobody can escape GOD and HE is a GOD of justice!!!! He sees the wicked world that we give license to by evading responsibility and evading doing what is right because it is right!!!! To the parents if by some miracle they get to read this, I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your angel. I am outraged and pray for justice. I know my words are small compared to the pain you feel but your son Gabriel the little angel has touched me beyond words. I wish I could hug you both and cry with you. We are strangers but we are connected because I also grieve for your sweet Gabriel and will scream for him as long as I live. I will remember him and you both forever. I am sorry for the pathetic denial of many and lack of compassion and will continue to lift my voice and prayers for you. I will hold your little boys smile in my heart forever.

The title is a contradiction very much like the world we are living in. Technology, it is everywhere that you go. We are living in what is known as the “information age.” We are suppose to be more intelligent than any other generation before us. What I see daily is not conducive with intelligence. Do not get me wrong, I appreciate the convenience of having a cell phone in case you break down on a lonely stretch of highway, I appreciate how fast we can transfer information via email but….. I choose to see the bigger picture. People are getting as cold and emotionless as the technological toys that they are addicted to. We not only have rehab for drugs and alcohol but now we have rehabs for people who are addicted to cold lifeless machines. It is getting out of hand. Even our President cant seem to stay off of social media to run our country. Technology is convenient but we are paying a price.

We have a data base full of information that sadly is being used for wicked purposes. The divorce rate is higher than it has ever been thanks to social media. It infuriates me to see people who have been married for 20 plus years end because of social media, families being torn apart because some ADULT wants to act like a teenager trying to hook up with any random person they can, looking for someone to stroke their ego and other things. It is sickening! The majority of social media is geared towards whores and whore-dogs and that is the truth. Bullying now reaches kids outside of school via the term “cyber bullying”, created by social media. Serial killers and child molesters do not even have to leave their homes to find their victims, all they have to do is post an add on Craig’s list or other types of social media. We have a series called “Catfish” about people taking advantage of people and playing with emotions and deceiving due to social media. Our country is getting more obese because of the convenience of technology. We now have 10 year olds with diabetes because all they are interested in doing is playing with their techno toys and eating. My fear is that eventually people will be born with absolutely no muscles because society is barely using what GOD gave us. Babies will be born with a cell phone attached to their head. I know this sounds silly but I am making a point. We can barely get eye contact because that would require someone to look away from their phone. Phones have become a body part to many and they are totally lost without them. It is not healthy for us to be in constant contact with someone 24/7. Silence and quiet is a medicine for the soul. Social skills are depleting because of all of this wonderful technology. Eventually people will not even know how to write. No-one even has to think because they can google it. Now we have to worry when we are on the highway that some IDIOT will be playing on their phone while on the road. It is so bad that now they charge you with D.U.I if caught on your phone while driving. Our paper said there are more accidents as a result of people playing on their phones than drunks now. I say enjoy the toys but honestly I wish they would revise the entire system. There is a song by Chevelle called “Take out the gunman” That is what we need to do and the “gun man” in this situation is technology. Casey Anthony used technology to look up information on how to kill her little girl. Nut jobs look up how to make bombs. It is sad and pathetic. Steven King wrote a book called “The cell” and everyone who had a cell phone turned into zombies. It was a story of fiction but I think it was prophetic and the evidence is all around us.

We live in a drive by society, if it isn’t easy no one wants any part of it. I realize there are responsible people who have facebook and I commend you. I also realize that not all social media is bad, Some use it to edify and help, some use it to promote their business and I applaud that, but again the majority are not being responsible and many are suffering. We complain about our enemies and yet we have a system so they can get information about us and recruit. We complain about the lack of morals and yet we have pornographic sites for anyone who chooses to click that button. I heard the other day that a 10 year old boy had a friend send him a link to one of these sites PATHETIC!!!! HELLO when is enough enough. Little girls are corresponding with grown men and disappearing and people are concerned about friends and lovers on Facebook. What are we 12 years old with the question, will you be my friend REALLY? I have already made my opinions known about the drug pandemic but I want to point out another contradiction. People rant about the drug problem and turn around and give the JUNKIES needles giving them a license! I already made my points in ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE and stand by my solution DROP THEM OFF ON A ISLAND!!! DOES ANY OF WHAT I HAVE MENTIONED SOUND INTELLIGENT?

People in the 1800’s had more intelligence than we do today, they had better morals and actually used their bodies for what they were designed for. Technology has created a bunch of soft whiney weak men. It is scary to see how many men cry at the drop of a hat. Look at the people on Americas Got Talent and The Voice you cant escape a man turning on the tears Pathetic. Thankfully I have a real man but sadly men are turning into soft little girls, women have more of a back bone than men do today. I told my husband we need to make a new Kleenex commercial and the pitch would be “KLEENEX FOR THE SOFTER SIDE OF MEN” Men are human and have a right to cry about something real but today thanks to technology raising them they cry every-time the wind blows wrong.

Even though I am a young chick I crave simpler times, when you could get eye contact and enjoy going out to dinner without hearing someone either on their phone or hearing it ring. When you could turn on the television and not see women twerking their ass. When you did not have to censor what the kids watched. Technology is replacing manners I guess. Because it is 2018 we somehow think its OK to be sex driven, perverted, foul mouthed, disrespectful, heartless and cruel, self intilted, oppininated and arrogant, and lets not forget EASILY OFFENDED! We look at our world and marvel on how messed up that it has become largely because of TECHNOLOGY. Technology in and of itself is fine, it is peoples choices that cause a problem. Technology tempts and PEOPLE make the stupid choice. We are trusting machines with our entire lives, is this intelligent when machines will always fail at some point.

We complain about people making bombs but yet we give them information through the internet to make them and then we say things like that is so awful as if we had nothing to do with it. I want someone with some intelligence and influence to wake up and see TECHNOLOGY is killing our world I want someone to look away from money and convenience and see what they have traded for it. The entire system needs revised. Anything in excess is bad and we have entirely way too much information out there and it is stealing quality of life from all of us. Serious disconnects need made to the glorious Internet. It is doing more harm than good and nobody can deny that. There are even rooms you can look up where rich people pay to torture people and you can watch. Every depraved thing, every wicked thing, everything that could be used to hurt should be taken out!!!! I am simply saying make some serious revisions and disconnects already. STOP choosing money over quality of life.

Another huge contradiction is freedom of speech. Freedom of speech only applies if…we cater to everyone’s moronic ideas and ignorance. Tip-toeing around everyone’s poor little feelings. The attitude of our world today is…Go along with my preferences, baby me and tell me everything is OK but whatever you do do not tell anyone what they need to hear, do not tell anyone anything that leaves them taking personal ownership and responsibility. I have ranted about this multiple times because as I have said “Truth is denied its abilities.” If people tell the truth they are labeled a hater and many other things. People sue people for telling the truth it is disgusting. All of what I have ranted about is disgusting and the tragedy in all of this is it can be fixed and no-one is trying to extinguish any of the madness instead they want to keep putting fuel on the fire even though it is consuming our world. I will say this again at the risk of being repetitive DENIAL and DELUSION are the diseases of this world. I have said, if you read me you have to take the salty with the sweet. I will leave you with a question, does any of what I have discussed today sound intelligent to you?
